Term used to demonstrate that a company has consistently applied the requirements of ISO 9001, is obtained as a result of the certification audit, and the approval of its quality management system. In other words, ISO 9001 certification is the formal and international recognition that the company or organization has a management system in accordance with a recognized standard. Note: ISO 9001 certification is not related to the product or company. The ISO 9001 certification is related to the company's quality management system.
